Banquet and Awards NighT
Annually, on the first Saturday in March the Club holds our Wild Game Banquet and Awards Night. This is our primary fundraiser for the year and assists us in in funding recreational, educational, and conservation projects throughout the year. It is also the time when we recognize outstanding contributions to the club and our members' harvests for the year.
Harvest Measuring Day
Every January, members of our club and the community join us at our Harvest Measuring Event. At this event our club’s certified Alberta record book scorers will measure the skulls and antlers of the animals taken in the previous year’s season. Club member’s scores are automatically entered for a Harvest Award which are presented at our Annual Wild Game Banquet.
YOUTH FISHING DERBY
The Club hosts the Annual Youth Fishing Derby for kids 12 and under at the Jim Nelson Memorial Trout Pond to coincide with Devon Days. The derby is open to the community and is free for all attendees. Lunch is provided by the club and prizes are awarded for most fish caught.
